Here's another sculpture on the Australian War Memorial's grounds. I read that it's one of Canberra's best-loved icons.

The War Memorial's website says that 'Sir Bertram Mackennal's War (or Bellona, as it is better known) was relocated to the Sculpture Garden in 1999. The sculpture portraying Bellona, Roman goddess of war, and made in 1906, is located near the Lone Pine tree. This tree was raised from one of the seeds of a pinecone sent home by an Australian soldier at Gallipoli to his mother. It was planted at the Memorial in 1934 in memory of all the sons of Australia who fell at Lone Pine.'

There's even more information about the sculpture here if you're interested.
